DuraCoat is the simply the finest firearms (and accessories) finish
on the planet. I've offered them all at one time or another
and DuraCoat is my favorite. The finish is amazing in it's
range of colors, and applications. DuraCoat is a spray on
finish that cures in a few weeks to be very durable and rust
resistant. It can be applied to firearms, scopes, magazines,
flash lights, knives, wood and plastic to name the common
applications I perform. I've been applying it and using on
my guns and gear for over five years. I wouldn't offer it if
I felt it was an inferior product. If you have a blued item
or a stainless piece that you simply want protected I can even
apply a clear finish to allow the original finish to show.
.....And in light
of current oil prices, reduce the amount of oil your firearms need! |

By Popular
Demand I now offer DuraHeat for your high heat applications.
This product is "very similar" to
the air cure series CeraKote that I no longer offer. DuraHeat may well be
the perfect finish for all of your full auto and high cap magazine adventures.
Available colors are:
- Woodland

Tan
- Stainless
Steel
- Pewter
|
- Matte
Black
- HK Black
- Woodland
Brown
- Clear

Note:
DuraCoat will require between 3 and 5 weeks to reach a maximum cure.
The finish is also highly resistant to abrasion and wear, but it is not
indestructible. If the finish fails due to material or application I
will repair it. If it is damaged by accident or abuse I can still
repair it for a nominal charge. Some firearms have high wear areas
that will, well....wear. Great West Gunsmithing reserves the right to
determine why an application fails or is damaged. Don't worry, I'm
honest. DuraCoat is
NOT available in areas where it is restricted or banned. This currently refers to the five
boroughs of New York City, but you could be next......
